looks like a SP1 rifle that has the buttstock and flash hider swapped out.  wouldn't take too much work to restore it to it's original condition unless the flash hider for some reason was welded on.  restoration would run you $125 to $150 and a SP1 in original shape has been selling for around $1000.  if you could get it for $750 or less, then go for it.

Could be a "cherry cap" on the flash suppressor...

Handguard has chipped teeth.  Fixable.

Charging handle looks dark compared to the receivers, which seem to be fairly close to the same shade.

Lock ring on buffer tube looks like a pipe wrench has been used on it, and an ill fitting one at that.  All that could be switched out for a rifle buttstock assembly.

The lower receiver kinda sorta looks A1 profile and the pivot pin kinda sorta appears to have a screw head.

Might be pieces/parts of an SP1, might not.

Might be worth eyes on examination, might not, only one way to tell.  Go lookit and report back.

Meh too many unknowns, def not original ch, what about bcg, barrel?  Looks pretty rough to me. Not that that is a problem, it just means i wouldnt go anywhere near 750 for that. You can pick up a nice, and i mean nice A1 for 1k if you look....

+1. Looks like a slab side SP1. If you are restoring it, it needs at least a A1 stock, buffer tube, buffer, short A1 screw, A1 bird cage, and if you what a set of hand guards for the missing teeth. As stated, the CH is a replacement because of color. You have no clue on the BCG and we are assuming the barrel is correct.

I would definitely want to go and look at it very closely !  It looks like it may be restorable, back to it's Original SP1 condition.

Just make sure that Flash-Hider isn't welded to the barrel, that would be something that would really drop the price for me, but it could be fixable.

The Stock, Handguards & Charging Handle are all easy to fix.  Just get there and really check it out, and get it for a LOW, LOW Price, due to it's Rough and Mis-Matched condition.

GOOD LUCK !

A 1980s "Bubba gun!"  I saw that a lot at Gunshows in the late 80s, early 90s.  The upper and SP1 lower are worth some $$$$.  Probably restore it for $100 to $125, if you shop around.  I'd love to have one, but SP1s are a felony in Kalifornication.  I have to settle for Colt on a Nodak Spud 601 lower.  No real difference, but it would be nice.

That does look a lot like the SP1s I saw when I started shopping for them back in the 90s. Big flash hider and shorty stock with a bipod. It was like a conspiracy..

You should be able to make it something nice for a few bucks, depending on the internals. BCG should have a C stamped on it, right?
