Just in case you guys hadn't poked around in the rest of the site lately, I thought I might post this.  Not period correct @ all, but much easier to hide than an adjustable gas block:

https://www.rubbercityarmory.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=33

And from another manufacturer, apparently:

Particularly might be helpful if someone was wanting to suppress something, if you were on the fence about 41P.

Its a cool product. I would roll with a MGI adjustable tube .. its hidden enough and adjustable from outside the gun.
(now you have me wanting to be a high tech light weight AR.. something with a titanium carrier or something.

The neat thing about this, though, is w/ a handy spare bolt carrier, you can move it from gonne to gonne - the same as your suppressor.

Sun Devil has been making those for a while.  I find it interesting they're both patent pending, neither is all that ground breaking.

Rubber City, a McMillan Company, but which McMillan Company.  That's a bit dubious.  They do make 458 socom bolts though. Always wanted a socom.

Interesting posts.  I have some interest in this topic.  I am looking to put a can on an a1 upper, but I haven't figured out how to
do it just yet.  I am thinking it will be like a 605 length barrel, but with my can on the end bringing out to about a 20" standard length
barrel.  I haven't fooled around yet enough with the suppressor on an ar15 to know how much tuning it will require.  Anyway, thanks
for the information.

Hmmmm. I can't tell from the pics, but what does this key do?   Bleed off gas into the action?

Set screw threads in and partially (or fully)blocks the Key orifice, so it limits the gas entering the bolt. Second set screw locks the blocking screw in place

Friend has one on a suppressed 300BLK and it works pretty well
