That's a training laser that hooks up to a moniter, you run programs and use the gun like "Duck Hunt"  for Nintendo, but it's way more advanced, noticed the trigger on it? I believe you would install this laser on a gun with no trigger that is setup for use with the laser only. There was a thread a while back about these things. I could be wrong though as this is the first one I've ever seen.

Seems like barrel flex would tear that up, I'm going with a trainer of some sort.

Get out of my head!!

I was just thinking about this upper last week, I wanted to look it up but I didn't even know what it was called. IIRC it was for sale in the EE for a loooong time.

Thanks for posting!

I think the OP of the thread was BroVet and it was 2-3 months ago. I'm looking now

I'd have a hard time buying that. The details of the design seem wrong for that, and Surefre made laser sights back then.

It appears to be a different system than the Miles laser I was thinking of. I origially said I had no experience with anything like this, but I found out it was an early 1984 era Surefire laser prototype that tanked when it hit the market because it cost almost $2000 in the early 80's. Back then that kind of money was enough to buy 3-4 AR15's. Or 2 AR15's and 3-4 Polytech AK's.
