I am adding PEQs. Always loved PEQs, they give me that feeling of 'operator'
Additionally, I love lasers. I have this one in black, plus a used one coming to me (another ATPIAL but in tan) and a brand new Dbal A3, also coming to me. I wanted the power of the green laser as well. I manly am in the looks of these things, I certainly am not an operator of any sort DD Mk18 PEQ by SoloDallas, on Flickr |

An AFG is ok if your OAL is under 26", but a VFG is not ok under 26" OAL.

Not only the term operator is an abomination when referred to pistols but in my opinion, it's pretty ridiculous when applied to any thing civilian owned. Hence my usage of quotes AND the emoticon. Let me thusly rephrase: I like the look of military (looking) lasers (and gear) as they are reminiscent of the ones the US Special Forces use on their automatic rifles. It lets me feel that futile illusion of being adventurous beyond the limits. A gearhead, in short, which perfectly fullfills my recreative objective with firearms and relative gear. Have fun! |

I have two rifles with the 60 degree throw SI safety, they work just as well as my BAD sets, just different ascetics. Fit and finish are what you would expect from a machined part. |

I just added a couple of minor things - namely a terrific Haley Strategic offset light mount (shown) that truly clears the ATPIAL.
Although the literature (and ads) of the mount did state that it would clear it, I was still in doubt and only really believed my eyes when it installed flawlessly. Really great stuff. Also, double switch for light N laser. Haley Lights Offset Mount on MK18 by SoloDallas, on Flickr Haley Lights Offset Mount On MK18 by SoloDallas, on Flickr |

Whats the size and specs on the buffer tube if I might ask. Looks like the perfect length. Course you might, I love sharing. It is exactly the KAK buffer tube (and spring inside) that comes with that KAK blade. I mean, it doesn't come with it, you have to select it as an additional item from KAK. So the whole kit is around USD95-ish if memory serves me right (tube has specific indentations for the blade to move and lock onto, just a superb feature. It has an allen key underneath for you to lock-unlock to move). In my opinion, best on the market for an AR15 pistol, considering what it is. ETA: http://www.kakindustry.com/shockwave |
