Hello all my first post here.

This pistol lower has been through a great deal of change.

I liked the first configuration but borrowed the quad rail to use on a rifle build.

handling the pistol with no rail felt so great i decided to try and go as light as possible so here it is. first to go was the pistol brace and quad rail.

Spikes lower
Phase 5 pistol tube with half a squash ball glued to the end to prevent it falling over. I believe the squash ball is much better looking than a cane tip.
thread protector from R700 sps tac aac glued on with blue loctite
cmmg wasp 8.5 inch pistol barrel.
Odin works 5.5 inch kmod rail.  -interesting barrel nut system, and almost and much lighter than even the plain pistol tube. almost like no hg at all.
noveske km panels

using a weaver dot on a riser untill i can afford an RMR or micro

the only thing i dont like is that the odin works rail doesnt have a slot to put the front sight all the way forward.

proposed changes are to buy the troy pdw stock and modify it so i have a shorter and lighter buffer tube, or one of the other short tubes and carriers. then ditch the backups and add rmr or micro. currently weighs in at 5#
anyway hope to make some friends here.

I cant seem to get the pic to show up. I put the

Thank you sir. And I'd have to agree with you on the stamp thing. 1more pic. I use a TLR-1 on the lug mount. What looks like scratches on the buffer tube, is just adhesive residue from some Gunskins camo tape. Chit is hard to get off. Its just a tic over 6lbs with the RDS+KZ mount/bayonet lug mount since the brace is only 5oz. I've had this purple-ish LM 603 upper since snag'n it new at a gunshow in the early 80s.

Yes.

Loose. Very. At each end theres approx 4-5 layers of black tape around the buffer tube. It then slid on pretty darn tight. Then I used the set allen screw. Solid as a rock now.

Anderson upper, lower, guts and bcg, Green Mountain barrel, generic rail I cut down just behind a Hawg. Krylon's finest white paint. I just had an itch for a white AR for some reason...I have a black AFG for it somewhere, and it will look better with black ladders on the rail sides. This might become my dedicated .22 soon. It's raining out, I'll get better pics later.

Wow that is a good looking shooter, love the paint job gives us some build details.
Here is a pic of mine to add to the pile.

DD lpk, Wilson upper lower, 8inch law guns heavy 300 BLK barrel, Troy 7.2 alpha rail, magpul k2, thordsen kit, 5/8x24 std, custom tig welded hk sights, Hera arms 45 degree ambi selector, aim black nitride bolt, Silencerco 45 osprey.

Update since I originally posted my build 2 weeks ago. Swapped handguards with a buddy at work, looks much better with the 9" Troy rail than the 7". Also put on a Primary Arms MD-ADS and a Magpul grip. Took it to an indoor range last night, shot 90 rounds. It ran great. Only issues I had was a couple of misfires using cheap Tula ammo. Had no issues at all with ZQI.

I've been primarily shooting Tulammo and I can tell you that its pretty dirty. Just saying.....

I saw a YouTube video where someone lubed their Tulammo a little bit and that same issue stopped.

Decided to build my 13yr old daughter something compact for xmas, she started enjoying shooting the other AR's and this was a good excuse right?

7.5" MAS Defense upper
SAA lower
BCM grip
Kineti-tech muzzle brake/shroud
Stark Industries grip
EOTech...

Where it got fun was deciding to see how compact we could go and taking a LWRC ultra compact stock setup and using the buffer tube/buffer/spring in conjunction with a cut down Thordson custom's setup.  A lot of time with a 1" belt sander I use for kydex projects after the big cuts but it all fits together nice and tight and makes for decent PDW.

Nice looking little build there.  Why did you go with the stark express grip instead of something like the magpul afg?   Wouldn't the magpul have been a lighter weight option?

The stark was pretty much chosen by the 13yr old...given that I am just grateful she wants to participate in shooting with me and such when the options were discussed that wasn't a hill I was going to die on-ironic given that all my other AR's sport magpul afgs, for the reason you suggest.

I mean I am down with that idea and think that should be legal no doubt, but no way in hell would I feel comfortable rocking that arm brace setup. That looks super comfy though.
