its different, but i think a good different.  Lighter for one, and way less bulky.  You can tell there is less surface area than the sig brace, but it still supports very nicely.  I think the ability to take it off, add or remove a kak spacer ring and then reinstall with the same lockup is pretty dang cool.  If i'm running plates I can make the pull shorter if need be.  I also like the battery storage and the fact that it is far more aesthetically pleasing.  Kinda like a sopmod stock with the bottom chopped off.

Im still looking to swap out the DBAL for one of those new ATPIAL-C's and perhaps add a doctor or rmr to the top of the elcan.  Maybe change out the mini scout for a WMX 200 light as well to complete a block II kit for it

And!  Its a BATTERY HOLDER, not a stock.  I also really like mine.  Just got it installled.  Honestly, with a small package set up, I'd run it over a regular stock anyday.  There is less material to get in the way.

I have a kak spaced buffer tube without the castle nut that I used initially and it locked up perfect. I did however get thordsens new buffer tube and bought the spacer rings so I can adjust how long it is based on if I'm running plates or not. They sell the cheek rest as an entire complete kit now so there's no assembly, just slide on and bolt it tight.

Current pic of my RRA 7" pistol. I popped a PA 3x magnifier with a flip-to-side mount on it just to screw around but I'm shocked at how much I like it on there. It doesn't disrupt the balance of the rifle and the 3x is perfect magnification for that PA gen red dot.

According to the lack of wear it looks to have been fired very little.

Just joined the forum and already loving the great info everyone has. I'll try to contribute as much as possible.

Here's my AR pistol, build by a local armorer that has a shop nearby. The flash suppressor is amazing, with no flash evident in a dark range.

Finally was able to disassemble the pistol and send it out for cerakoting in tungsten and put it together last night.
Pics do not do justice.  Cerakote came out real nice in my opinion.

Thanks, I like it a lot. No problems from it at all and very fun to shoot.

The buffer tube is 7" from radical firearms and I'm running a H2 buffer with a standard gold 10.5" spring. The tube is only a half of an inch shorter than the one I had on there previously, but the spent shells hit the shell deflector now.

just put an optic on my pistol build and thought i would post some pics. i went with the new vortex 1x spitfire prism scope because of my astigmatism and really like it. i went with a 10 1/2 inch stainless 223 wylde 1 in 8 barrel from mas defence. and slim KAK flash can under a  UTG pro 13 inch rail and used an anderson upper and lower with a KAK buffer and sig brace. and i used a SAA nickel boron bolt carrier group with a CMMG lower parts kit.

Here's my finished AR pistol. It did have a SB15, but I decided to switch to a CAA side Saddle.

Upper is complete BCM
Lower is an Anderson stripped lower with a PSA parts kit and KAK RE.

Here is my finished product minus a sling mount attachment that I haven't even decided if I will get yet.

KAK Flash Can
Magpul PTS MBUS Gen 1 Flipup Backup Sights (probably temporary)
Troy Industries 13" Battlerail Alpha
Barreled Upper with Mas Defense 11.5 1x7 Twist M4 Hardened Crome Moly Barrel, SpikesTactical Upper Receiver, And Spikes Tactical BCG
BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle
PSA Pistol Lower
Phase 5 Pistol Buffer Tube

Total damage:    $1051 including various shipping costs

The Vortex Sparc optic was moved over from an M&P 15-22 rifle. I have Swamp Fox 30 round magazines and a Magpul 40 round magazine.

My recent 'economy' pistol build. Still waiting for the flip up sights but thought I'd post a couple pics. Red-X Arms 7.5" ,upper mated to an Anderson 80% lower (used their jig and my drill press) and Primary Arms buffer tube assembly.

Don't known why I get the link instead of the pics to show? I'm using the Photobucket direct link and the image insert function of the posting?
