Just noting, going through the pages here as I sit and wait on my parts to come in...this thread is going to be 10 years old. Seeing the dynamic of the AR15 pistol builds over the time is quite interesting.

 Red Jacket lower (I got it before the pervert was arrested)  PSA lpk with Chip McCormick 3.5# drop in trigger PSA 10 inch 9mm upper MagPul stuff Sig Brace Vortex Strikefire Hope to try it out this weekend. |

Earlier today I saw an AR pistol here somewhere that was all FDE, and had a rail on it the owner said he had cut down from a 10" or 11" so the KAK can or Kx3 just peeked out of the end... I just spent an hour trying to find it again to no avail!!! |

Finally able to contribute to this thread.
Have been working on putting this thing together with spare parts. Barrel is an old CMMG M4 barrel cut to 11.3" and gas port of .070", runs like a top with a Spikes ST-2.

I had a AR pistol, Spikes lower, PSA 10.5 CHF, 12" rail(MI - FF keymod), Inforce wlmx, etc. I sold it for bills off work 3-6 months for surgery. So, I see cheap uppers with rails, what should I be saving for to replace it? I have a Damage Ind. blem pistol tube, QD endplate. The Radicals look good, but one I put together for a friend had issues. Mas Defense are cheap, but are they good?
Hopefully I will have one together for me and my son in a few months. Just trying to research and get a budget. |

I built this one (my very first build) for my wife's birthday today. Needless to say she loved it and said "It's my sized!"
Radical Firearms 7.5" upper with Seekins Precision rail. Spikes bolt carrier group Joe Bobs billet lower "Molon Labe Spartan" Phase 5 buffer tube assembly Sig arm brace. Hoping I got this right and do not have any cycling issues. |

All right folks, I'm a noob to the AR15.com group. So please go easy on me. I recently built an AR Pistol. I found a plethora of information here. Thanks to all of the contributers! Why does it have Republic and Empire insignia? While discussing the build with a friend over a good bottle of Jameson, I thought it would be interesting to make it look like an Empire themed gun with a little Rebel Alliance secret. These are the droids you are looking for.

Here's my first pistol that I built PSA lower DSA upper 7.5" 1/7 4150 Tactical Ambush Barrel Surefire M952V light IR and white Laser Green/IR Thordsens buffer tube cover and saddle kit Duracoated receivers in flat woodland tan The CAA saddle and handgaurd are duracoated in Magpul FDE Furniture is Magpul FDE Krink muzzle brake Pics to come.
