I'm lurked on here for a while but this is my first post. I've looked through all 189 pages of this thread, mostly for ideas for my next pistol build.
This isn't my first build but it is my first pistol build. And it's not my last pistol build either. I'll post some more pistols soon. FDE Cerakote with FDE furniture. Adams Arms piston, KNS anti-roll pins, Odin extended mag release, Strike Industries port cover. The bottom pic was as first built. I ordered the FDE sights but then realized I was putting the front sight on a gas block so I upgraded to the Pros. Troy Claymore muzzle device. Sig brace, slightly modified to fit with the end plate. I have a couple of IWC QD end plates laying around but I think that would take a bit too much modification to work. I could grab a KAK Sig buffer tube. I'm trying to avoid not fully installing the brace  like some of the...dummies...that have posted some pictures in here. Yes, I know the brace is not a stock and it is legal on a pistol but the ATF wants to say that shouldering the brace is "redesigning" the weapon into an SBR, that's it's the intent of the owner that determines the legality. Heck, in some of the pictures, some of the people are dangerously close to providing the ATF enough evidence to harass them for shouldering the brace. Sure, the "redesign" excuse is stupid and they'll probably be fine in the end but why put yourself out there and risk having to deal with the hassle of the process? If they're looking to hang you, don't give them the rope. [/soapbox]
That being said, If I had to do it over again, I would have probably skipped the brace and gone with the CAA saddle. Or I may just cut off the "arms" of the brace and leave only the cheek weld.

My second pistol build...
For my second pistol build, I decided to go simple. I went with a PSA 10.5" upper and switched out the handguard for a magpul. Because I wanted something simple (fast), I skipped any optics or collapsible sights and went with a PSA carry handle. I have a Sightmark laser boresighter to get a rough zero on my builds and I was able to use it to sight the pistol in at a distance from my bedroom door to the front door, hence the simple sights that don't turn on or flip up. It's got a magpul QD endplate and a magpul ms4 QD sling. A couple of pmags and a coupler give me quick access to 60 rounds. The front sling mount is the magpul m-lok mount. And I added a cane tip to keep the end of the buffer tube from sliding on the floor in case it's leaning in the corner or something.

Here is my 10.5 inch pistol.
PSA Christmas special upper. KAK BCG KAK tube and brace Primary Arms red dot Anderson lower with DPMS LPK. I haven't had a chance to site it in yet, but I did put a few rounds into a log and it shot a pretty nice group.
