Built this to somewhat resemble a Commando style M16.  Has a complete PSA upper with FN CHF chrome lined barrel, 5.56 and 1x7 with regular phosphate and chrome lined bolt carrier group.  Loaner carry handle till PSA gets theirs available again.  Lower is a machined out 80% that was already anodized, so running clean and un-numbered.  Standard LPK and A2 grip with Shockwave and an H2 buffer.  Plan to keep it just as is.  Shoots great also.  Will have maybe about $600 in it total.  Its the second pistol I built for myself.

Have an A2 Colt upper that I am gonna swap with the same PSA CHF upper.
Its in the mail, and the lower is all assembled.

Soon, very soon

Couldn't pass up the deal on Colt 11.5" barrels on GunBroker right now, and I had a spare C7 upper and a pistol grip lying around, so I ended up buying a complete lower to go with it. #FirstWorldProblems

My first AR pistol. I traded it for a G27.

Hardened Arms 10.5 upper
Anderson lower
PSA nickel boron BCG
Vortex strikefire II
Surefire G2X
Shockwave blade and buffer
I've since swapped the grip for a MOE K2+ in FDE
PO sprayed the shockwave so I want to sell it and buy one in FDE.

Planning to build a 300 BO with a stay quiet on the end next.

Diamondback DB9RPB10 - 9mm (10")

Maxim CQB Brace
BCM rail sections
Magpul K grip, trigger guard, and AFG
LWRC Enhanced Trigger Group
Troy Battle Sights
KNS Pins
Not shown but just installed - BAD ambi selector
Waiting on the Avalanche mod 2 charging handle - believe they ship next week

A few notes for those interested:

The CMC drop in triggers have the fail-to-reset problem - so I had the LWRC Enhanced trigger for a 300blk I was swapping out triggers on and decided to use it here instead - works great.

The BCG is solid (weighted) so captured buffer springs won't work without removing the weight (roll pin to remove - but I'm not sure if that will affect anything else or not as I haven't tried it).

Only have about 150 rounds of 115 Blazer ball through it so not much to say here other than it ran those rounds without any issues.

Was VERY impressed with the accuracy, plucking the numbers off the targets like a laser.

Uses Glock mags and has last round bolt hold open - comes with an ETS mag - both it and factory Glock mags were used and both ran great, no issues

It's extremely fun to shoot.  Heard others say how much they've enjoyed shooting 9mm AR's and they're right - very addictive, so much fun

The BCG is solid (weighted) so captured buffer springs won't work without removing the weight (roll pin - but don't suggest this as it will cause other issues) or buying a different BCG with a standard hollow.

What other issues are we talking here?

Sorry about that - "may" cause other issues - I haven't experienced any, but I just don't know how finicky these are from one to another.

My 7.5" 300 BLK pistol. I'll probably remove the magwell grip though. Just experimenting with extra stuff laying around.

Colt BCGLH bolt and upperBoron FCGAmbi mag catch and safetyBadger charging handle (may swap out for BCM Gunfighter)Holosun circle and dot w/ solar backupThordsen buffer tube, tube cover and cheekpieceGuntec HG with keymodInforce WMLAdjustable gas blockGriffin Minimalist brake w/ taper mount for eventual suppressorQD points for single or dual slingcheap gun show BUIS, for now

Been having trouble getting it to cycle any brand of subsonics. I know that once I get my Form 1 back, adding a suppressor will likely cure that, but in the meantime, I've done almost everything I can think of to get it to cycle to bolt lock. Right now, it can cycle to having the bolt lock on the face of THE CARRIER, but not on the face of the bolt. I've opened the gas port to .125, I've taken the weights out of the buffer, I've added a Wolf reduced power buffer spring, and I changed the BCG to a lightweight Colt sporter model (milled off bottom rear section). Everything is lubed up with "Pig Lube". The only thing I haven't done yet is swap out the hammer spring for a reduced power one.

Anyway, if someone wants to discuss possible solutions, please feel free to message or email me. Please don't clutter up this thread with discussion on it. Thanks

EDIT TO ADD: Just made an impromptu "covert case" insert for a backpack, to carry this pistol.

It's a MFT saddle and it locks totally solid.
The saddle surprisingly snaps on as if it was made for the Blade arm brace but I did need to file the little box that protrudes on the sides of the blade (between the wording) so the saddle would sit totally flush. I also filed a small indent at the front of the Blade for the bolt that holds the saddle on to fit across. Once you snap the saddle on you can easily see what needs done for it to sit flush and bolt on.
The filing I did is not noticeable on the sides (no one can tell without pointing it out). The indent filed on the front for the bolt to fit across is visible without the saddle but is very small and looks natural IMO. The point is,  the Blade is not ruined and basically looks the same as it originally did.
It would be nice if they actually made a saddle for the Blade or if it was originally designed to fit a saddle.
The Blade with the saddles attached is very comfortable. I have several AR's and a bunch of stocks and the Blade with a saddle is just as comfortable as any stock would be (better than most). I also like how the Blade with a MFT saddle looks so I see zero advantage in having a SBR. Having a SBR does have disadvantages though.
Another advantage to the saddle is the storage. My 7.5'' AR is well balanced but my 11.5'' AR was front heavy so I added some weights to the storage areas of the saddle to balance it out. Without the storage areas I would be stuck with an unbalanced gun.

Just finished a 'truck gun' pistol because I had leftover parts from other builds and leftover parts is not something I deal with well.  Also, it's kinda funny that there are so many different shades of 'FDE'.

Already have run about 100 through it, and it's more accurate than I thought it'd be.
