PIA difference from unsuppressed to suppressed was minimal.. a couple inches at 100 yrds was all. only reason i sold it was it was 16' and i bought a wilson combat 11.3" to go on one of my SBRs. |

Hope stays this way and dosen't cause any problems down the line. |

I just noticed Noveseke is offering 1:7 twist 300 blk barrels now. Has it been determined to be more ideal than the 1:8 99% of us have for subs?

Believe it just increases the likelihood of consistent stability for the heaviest and longest of sub projectiles (240 grain subs out of 6" barrels for instance). Faster twist makes it less likely someone exceeds the stability band and Fs up a can. |

Thanks AlphaOperator.
The gun isn't heavy at all. I don't have exact figures but I'd estimate with the suppressor mounted in the 7-8lb range. The can is 15oz and the QD brake is 4oz. Last I heard and I believe the Aimpoint Micro and mount to be about 7oz together. I will do a little measuring when I get home tonight. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
