My 300 SBR...

Core 15 9.5" barrel
12" Daniel Defense MFR cut to 9.5"
YHM flash suppressor/suppressor mount
Magpul CTR, Sights  & MOE grip
Spikes nickel boron BCG
Wilson Combat single stage trigger
Burnt Bronze ceracoat finish by Vinny at www.vcindustriesllc.com

The stamp took 6 1/2 months but had to be returned to me for corrections, so it would have been right at 6 months without the return. I still have about 2 months for the stamp to come back on the YHM Titanium Phantom I bought to go with it. I will be having the suppressor cerakoted in black. I will also be picking up an Aimpoint H-1 and LaRue mount for it.

99% done, just need some washers to time the muzzle brake.

CMMG lower and parts kit I've been sitting on for a while with RRA 2-stage trigger.  Was going to be a Grendel build but changed my mind.
Magpul ACS-L and tube and MOE grip from PSA.
Upper receiver from PSA
FN bolt carrier group.
Troy VTAC 13" hand guard.
Melonite barrel from Alpha Shooting Sports.
Muzzle brake I machined today.  Similar to Rainier Arms RMC.
Meopta K-dot and Larue mount.

Nice gun.  Glad to know I'm not the only guy to cut the MFR down

I've considered having an out of state SOT cerakote my Ti762 but was told the ATF considers that warranty work that can only be performed by company that produced the suppressor.  Worth checking into.

So, correct me if I am wrong and of course, same as with 5.56 set ups, this is completley legal. To add a stock , would be considered an SBR and tax stamp needed.  In addition, to add a can on end, yet another stamp. Correct? As for making an SBR, could do so , and as long as not used or just kept in safe while waiting for stamp, no problems. As for the suppressor, stamp needed before can be purchased? Thanks.

found a site about half hour from where I reside, wish I saw yesterday, they are suppose to have a table at the show this weekend. May be able to get a load of info from them.

http://www.internationalpolicesupply.net/suppres.htm

found a GEMTECH disclaimer at bottom of page on their (above ) site. pasted below. Anyone have any issues with this?
Subsonic Ammunition:

Subsonic ammunition utilizing heavy, boat-tail projectiles do not stabilize adequately to avoid baffle contact in barrels with a twist rate slower than 1 turn in 8 inches. This ammunition is used at the owner's risk, and damage caused by subsonic ammunition is not covered under warranty.

Two NFA items two tax stamps. If you're running a FA lower, LL, or RDIAS it trumps the short bbl and it will still be a two stamp gun if you have a suppressor attached.

Do not assemble an SBR until you have stamp in hand. You can have a pistol just don't put the stock on it till you get the envelope of elation from the DOJ/ATF

I'm not sure which rail panel (Tango Down, maybe?), but that is definitely a Gear Sector handstop.

You are correct, although I had to use a hacksaw on the Tango Down rail panel to get it to fit flush.

110g ttsx, how i love thee,
let me count thy ways.

FYI, the 110g ttsx is the only load under 130g I will run through the rifle. 110g vmax get jumbled inside the mags if you toss them around a bit and cause FTF. The difference in accuracy of the two is like night and day. I need to post the picture of the ragged hole at 100 yards I shot with the 110g ttsx out of a 10" Noveske with an ACOG TA31.

I finally completed my 300BLK Suppressed SBR project.  My target was a sub $2000 build including the $400 in stamps.  I came really darn close at $2059.99, including a few recycled parts from my parts bin.  Haven't been able to shoot it yet, but hope to in the next day or so.

Specs:
•9.5" Core 15 Tac V2 SBR Upper (minus flash hider)
•Spike's Multi-cal lower
•Spike's LPK
•Magpul MOE Polymer Enhanced Trigger Guard
•Magpul MOE+ Grip
•Used VLTOR Mod Stock from ARFCOM EE
•Daniel Defense A1.5 Rear Sight
•Daniel Defense Fixed Front Sight
•Troy 2 pt Battle Sling
•YHM .30 Caliber SS QD Suppressor + Mount
•ATF Form 4 Submitted 2/21/12 - $200
ATF Form 1 Sumbitted 2/21/12 - $200

The YHM QD mount nestles in nicely under the 9" MI rail, giving a clean look without the suppressor, and a nice transition with the suppressor installed.  There is about a 1/4" gap between the can and the end of the rail.

Side by side with my 16" M&P15 + YHM Phantom Flash hider.   The SBR + Can is litterally the same length, which was helped me chose the 9.5" bbl.

Vltor MUR1A
Noveske NSR 11
AAC 16" barrel w/ Brakeout
762SDN6 (visiting rights only for the next few months )
Nightforce 2.5-10x32 in Larue mount / Troy BUIS
Noveske FFL , STS, and QD endplate
Geissele SD-C
B5 SOPMOD
BCM BCG, Gunfighter charging handle and pistol grip.

I'm very happy with that barrel.  It cycles supers and subs both suppressed and unsuppressed.  220 SMKs are ridiculously quiet.  I'd never heard bullets smacking the berm before.
