I was under the impression that only 14.5 had the pistol gas, thus my need for a 14.5" Is a 16" barrel and CAR gas good to go with most ammo and no can? But no, a lot of companies are making a 16" version with pistol gas as well as carbine gas. |

CMMG and AR Stoner make decent barrels, and they are available at MidwayUSA for a reasonable price.

I am probably going to build a 300Blk next year. What I would like to see is the groups these shoot. 100 Yards for sure but some 200, 300 would be awesome.

Are all you guys with SBR setups able to run a standard buffer tube and get reliable results? Or have you guys all switched to H or H2 buffers?
Reason being is that I want to be able to switch between uppers and use the same lower... |

Ok I finally finished mine 100% and took a decent picture.

This is with suppressor mounted. Might've been break in or it might've been undercharged munitions. I switched to a CAR buffer and the gun still ran fine and never failed to lock back on empty. I decided to run some other uppers on the CAR buffer and they all ran good. |

I just finished my 300 BLK upper. I used a Noveske 8.2" 1 in 7 twist stainless barrel. I'm loading up some 110 grain V-Max bullets tonight and will see how it shoots tomorrow! I really like how this one turned out.

I was asking because on the one I got, the copper nut things weren't pushed in all the way in their holes, so it was also grabbing the other side. Was just seeing if they are supposed to be that way. |

we did one for a gentleman about a year ago, from what my machinist and gunsmith told me they said it wasn't really hard, they just started with a 16" 300 blackout ar15 barrel and turned it down to retrofit the existing pieces on the 5.56 barrel to the blackout barrel.
btw, we like how your mounts look |

What are the specs on the barrel/suppressor/rail? That is our Integrally suppressed H300IC upper receiver with a 8" match grade barrel, the suppressor sleeve is also the hand-guard and that is 12 inches long. Now the baffle stack is a monolithic core that screw on at then end of the barrel. Thus, resulting in a fully contained integrally suppressed upper receiver. if you wanna check it out, here |
