http://myinternetemail.net/images/kryptek-ptr3.jpg

A not so great picture taken with my iPhone of a few of my gun collection. All the rifles I have mad myself. or had them modified to fit the role I wanted them in. For example. I have always had a love for the HK91, even though the rifle is as heavy as a truck, they are solid, take drivers on their own and enhanced even better. Naturally I was never able to afford a real HK91, I came in after the market for them dried up, so I purchased the next best thing, a PTR91. Made from the same machinery that HK used and improved upon to modernize them. I took it and had a few modifications of my own done.

I had PSG T-Rails welded on to reenforce the body for increased accuracy at long distances. I had the Brass deflector welded on to reduce the ejection distance of the spent casings from 30' to a more reasonable 7'. I changed the 'Lower" to an AR style and had a trigger job done by Springfield, the best trigger modifier ever. I put a Magpul PRS stock put on, an Trijicon Acog designed for a .308 (I also have a Weaver for the longer shots, where an adjustable range is preferred).

I have a nice Houge AR15 grip on it, tripod, flashlight and some other goodies. The entire rifle is done in Kyrptek Typhon, but darkened so it retains the black rifle look, but allows p[eople to see the pattern when they look close. This was done in the Duracoat High Temperature coating. I also had Cerekote Micro-Slick done on the insides. I had 20 magazines and 2 50 round XS drums done as well and another lower (the standard one with a collapsible stock for CQB)..All-in-all I love the firle, though it is a heavy son of a gun, but shoots like a tac driver and is chambered for .308.

I also have a few AR15's I have build. One with Umbrella Corp FDE set, Wilson Combat Fluted Match Recon Stainless Steel Barrel, Arsenal Democracy Stock, FailZero BCG, Phase 5 Tactical Charging Handle, Hand Guard made by Midwest Industries Gen 2 SS, KNS parks kit for the lower and upper, Wilson Midlength LoPro Gas Block and tube et cetera.

The Other rifle is a PSA Upper/Lower, UCWRG, Geissele Mk II and other parts I can't recall.

Plus I have a few of my pistols. Custom Glock Model 22, Kimber .45, HK USP .45 Compact, S&W M&P Shield 9MM.

Some of the Cerekote work done by WeaponWorx (The Glock) Controlled Chaos Arms (The SW M&P Shield), Duracoat done by Drowning Ink Customs.

That is what I like about the AR platform. It is the most customisable rifle (and pistol), that can also accomodate individual needs for self defense.

Very nice!

I'm going to be building a rifle with a lot of the same parts. Same rail, grip, scope mount and rear sling plate. Except I want the ACS-L stock and MIAD grip in FDE.

Yeah, the stock will be the next thing to get changed out on this one.

I like the Bushy scope quite a bit, especially for the money. The reticle is a bullet drop compensation type of thing...not sure how happy you'd be with that on a .22. The illumination on the highest setting is a little low for bright sunny days on lighter backgrounds.
