Incredible paint job!

ETA: I also started with a primary arms micro dot and liked it so much I replaced it with a T1. The primary arms is great for the money.

Thanks. I have a write up and how to for the paint job in the refinishing forum.

The Micro Dot is great for the money and I have used and abused it and it has held zero no problem. And the battery is still going strong, its suppose to have a 1,000 hour battery life.

This is not a "Production" gun. The production guns will not look like that.

This gun was specifically built for me to T&E and bring to Shot Show. The holes on the tip of the rail were put on after the original mill was completed. They were drilled into the rail at different directions (forward facing and rear facing) and angles to assist with and direct muzzle flash away from the shooters line of sight.

Just finished putting this together tonight.  My first AR based rifle, and hopefully not the last.

Store-bought Colt M4 Carbine, LE6920
Factory Installed Rogers Super Stock
YHM Diamond Free Float
YHM QDS BUIS
YHM Vertical Grip
Streamlight TLR-2
Trijicon ACOG TA33R-8

Looking at that list it looks like I own stock in YHM.  Oh well

Now with fewer reloads...

Happy I got a quad-stack mag before they disappear.

and a carbine I was able to piece together from parts left over from other builds.

Very nice rifle and paint job. is that a midlength 14.7" barrel?

ETA: Nevermind, that looks carbine. What barrel length is that? Just curious.

After taking these pictures, I feel the need to stipulate that I am not Canadian... :p
Got the Contour this past week. Mounted it with the Strikemark piece.
I cant really think of anything I want to do to it now except shoot the hell out of it... but the current political atmosphere is making that a pricey venture...

Its my old TLR1. I put electrical tape on it a while back when I blacked all the white lettering out. Seems like companies have to laser engrave everything these days and it bugs me. Im going to do the same on the camera too. The tape fell of my Eotechs warning sticker...

LOL. I do have short arms. So in relation to me, a lot of setups seem too far of grip placement for me.

I was looking at that pic and thinking about his hand in front between the MOE grip and hand-stop and I thought, even with the stock all the way in that's a stretch for me lol.

on my SBR, with the stock one notch out like in this shot, I grip the AFG with my left hand with my index finger in front of the AFG notch. So when I'm gripping it, only my middle, ring, and pinky fingers are on the AFG, my thumb on top over the rail. Kind of like a hand stop type grip, but I like the slight bit of angle the AFG gives me. When this is done my left arm is about 3 inches from all the way straight extended.... And most people position their hand-stops, and grips further out than me.  I'm 5'8" lol. Not exactly tall. If I put my AFG much further out, my left arm would all the way extended straight.
