What rail system is that?

Evile - the rail is a Global Military Gear carbine extended quad rail, it is a low-cost drop-in rail.

As close as I could get to a civilian Colt M4 Military rifle.

Aww C'mon... You could get closer. M4 buttstocks are a dime a dozen.

Could replace the rear MBUS with a Matech, too. They're usually in the EE for around $40.

New build.  PSA complete classic edition lower, PSA complete M4 upper w/ Vortex Strikefire optic, PSA FA nickel-boron BCG, Magpul Gen2 Pmag 30rnd.  Bore is chrome-lined.  Got all this stuff on sale.

Currently sitting on a UPS truck somewhere are my Magpul MBUS rear sight, Magpul MOE handguard + Magpul 5-slot rail x2, Magpul MOE VFG, and Magpul MOE enhanced trigger guard.

The Vortex Strikefire is OK for an optic that was pretty much free.  My only issues with it are the power button being too easy to accidentally turn on(no auto shut-off that I'm aware of) and the green/red reflection around the sight picture from the light.  Will probably sell it and grab an EOtech or an Aimpoint Pro.

Oooh.  What finish is on that?  Pretty damn close to the build I want to do.  OD or close hardware with black pins, etc.

Droid potato family photo

The bottom one is my latest build, not had a chance to shoot it yet.
Build is kinda on the cheap as a KISS/knockabout gun.
Will probably get a different lower in the end. That one is marked for an eventual 20" build.
