It's a VIKING TACTICAL, pretty good product, only like $20-25, but it's plastic, wish it was aluminum....  And it requires two different size allen wrenches to put on or take off.

Mine have held up very well.  They are not flimsy or brittle at all.

They require ONE small size allen wrench to tighten the three set screws that hold the flashlight in place.  You do that one time and you're done.  For the record though, I think it's a less than optimal method of securing the flashlight, although my Laser Devices Op6 with "ribs" ain't going nowhere once you tighten the set screws.

The second, larger allen wrench is for the pair of screws that clamp the mount to the rail.  Yes, you would have to loosen these every time you want to remove your flashlight.

The good news here is that you can also purchase a pair of Yankee Hill "Big Head" thumb screws from BrightFlashlights in the industry forum for $3 or $4 to completely replace the two allen screws for attaching the mount.

its a 12" rail. Im thinking a 12.5" barrel at this time. Maybe a 14.5" or even a 16". Id like to keep it as short and accurate as possible though

did he cut down length or height?

that looks really good. I wonder if the Midwest Industries 10" rail would fit the same over a midlength gas block. I'm wondering about that end cap that they have interfering with the block.
