DD upper w/kac rails, pentagon light, grip-pod, ta31f, troy buis; doublestar lower with spike's LPK, hogue grip, and stag stock. painted in alumahyde II (coyote). i painted the upper receiver using a different can of paint, and it's a shade darker than the lower and the other stuff, but i still love the look.

I did the barrel, FH, buffer tube and nut in Federal Brown gunkote. Came out a lil darker and shinier than I hoped, but I still like it.

I will replace the DD M4 and the matech by a RIS II and a TROY FDE BUIS set (and use a Eotech 553 instead of the ACOG).. and I don't give up looking for taupe KAC RAS rail covers.

Thanks, got some on order. They list several different FDE shades, one for Magpul.

It felt really light compared to my middy, I weighed them to compare: FDE 6.68lbs w/o mag, middy 8.36lbs w/Ecotech w/o mag.
