I'm no photographer with my iPhone, plus stick is a tough act to follow. Apologies in advance.

What size handguard and barrel? I just got a 13" Solo and trying to decide whether to go 14.5" or 16" barrel. I painted the upper, lower and rail AlumaHyde II Coyote so I'll post pics when it's done.

Here it is so far...

Yup, as AlabamaPaul stated it's a 13" Solo over a 16" Rainier MEDCON.

Ok, so after looking at yours, I had to mock mine up to see how it looks and feels. I just need a barrel, muzzle brake and bcg. And the main reason I started this build was after I saw the SLR Solo handguards.

Thanks! That's a good question. Not sure yet. I'm leaning towards a Spike's 14.5" mid.

I just finished this one as a surprise for my wife, haven't test fired it yet but will slip out to the range one day this week. The stock is Magpul FDE, the receivers and freefloat tube (custom fiberglass job) are Aluma Hyde II Coyote (I baked them around 150 for 5-6 hours and it seems very tough so far)
Thanks for the inspiration!

I considered it, but with the black can, black lower parts, and other black areas, I like the contrast with the black LT mount and FDE T1 iO cover.

Archer says "who you callin' puppy?" He'll be a year old next month. He's an amazing dog.

I'm really digging this new PDW though. Suppressed subsonic 300 blackout is where it's at for HD.

Damn! 200 pounds at a year old? Archer is just pushing 85 pounds. He's a pit/lab mix though. We didn't expect him to get much larger than this.

Padded BFG VCAS with HK hooks

It's too long with both fastex extender/ adapters so I will remove the one on the rear and go with a straight HK hook
I'll just use the other on another sling

A few of my latest build.  I originally planned on using the black furniture I cannibalized from a previous build just until I could afford some in FDE, but now I think I like this look better.

Just a note on your scope. Keep an eye on the screws holding on your turret caps. I had a P-223 on a SR-556, and while out shooting one day had the screw in the top cap come out and the cap came off. I never did find the screw.
