Finally had a chance to put my first (and hopefully not last) AR together. It's in KISS phase now... sooner or later it may get some optical and/or lumen-rated bling.

I'm no Stickman, but I think the photos came out all right. Not as good as some others here, that's for sure!

PS the safe/fire markings are done FDE/red also.

Magpul FINALLY sent my CTR stock.

Needs an optic. Not sure which one yet. But other than that, it's done.

Complete Colt 6920 upper with Colt BCG
POF billet lower with integral trigger guard, milspec tube with H2 buffer
DD Omega rail
Magpul MIAD grip, CTR stock, and ladder panels in FDE

I like the Magpul FDE stuff. It's really "dark earth" and not "tan/dark earth/brown" like other vendors.

Hey USMC, what type/color of FDE paint is that? I have some Tango Down Duracoat I want to use on mine (pics of it few posts up). But I can't decide if I should use the Tango Down paint that I have, or buy the Magpul FDE color. My rifle has a Magpul stock, pistol grip and rail covers. And only the vertical grip is a Tangodown. Any input from anybody would be helpful before I take the plunge!
