The original FastFire.

I'm not a big FastFire fan, but I like the Irondot, so I plan on replacing it with a Docter.

Just finished the wifes new short ranger. I think it will get a little more accurate when the Melonite smoothes out a bit. Once I develop a load for it, it should shoot lights out. I have a US Optics 5-25 on the way so if I can get it to fit, ill see if I can shoot a better group since the Razor HDII is only 6x and has a pretty thick retical:

Because 'MURICA thats why! LOL Well actually since the 338 this scope was destined for was sent back to the manufacturer I figured, why not see if this huge thing will fit:

Time to hit the range again for another grouping test now with over 4x more magnification! Then it goes onto the Barrett for the time being...

Thanks, I have had 3 of these in 15" and they have all been super nice. For the price you really can't beat it, super light, super easy to install, did i mention LIGHT? Ive always preferred barrel shims instead of the whole 30-80 ft lbs. BS too so thats a real added bonus.

I have a buddy with the same Larue mount and he's interested in the same Trijicon, how do you like that setup?

12.5"? That's one of the nicer looking rifles I've seen in a while. I've always liked that tan MK4. I wish Fortis would make the Switch in a 9 or 9.5 inch length.

It's absolutely solid. This is my very first build, and my experience is with Marine Corps issued rifles, and the already assembled ones I work with five days a week at a big box retailer. It feels extremely well balanced, even with a loaded mag. My buddy who helped me put it together let me put his Leupold Mark 4 on it to test weight and balance, still damn near perfect. It's much lighter than I was expecting. I have nothing but great things to say about Aero. I'm thoroughly impressed, and I'm probably not going to go to anyone else for uppers and lowers. I may be getting my uppers pre-assembled from now on, because putting the barrel in was a pain in the ass. It is a Daniel Defense barrel, so I may change my mind once I go shoot it though.

The barrel will shoot lights out. I have a DD, cold hammer forged, CHROME LINED, pencil profile 16" that isn't even free floated and it shoots almost 9/10ths as good as my BCM 18" SPR that is hand lapped stainless and FREE FLOATED! The DD 18" S2W in the above pics put 5 rounds of factory match inside a dime at 100 yds. They just plain kick ass!

Try out some CBC 77gr OTM stuff. It's easy and cheap to find as well. This was 20 rounds from yesterday's range session.
