I have a project in the making. I need a handgrip to match my FDE PRS stock and mag. I am looking at the Ergo grip. My son has one in coyote and it is pretty far from a good match, is the FDE by Ergo very close or do I have to go with a MIAD to get the look I want. I am such a vain person land ittle things really get to me. Can anyone post a picture of Magpul and Ergo on the same weapon or next to each other in the same pic? Thanks

I got a good deal on it used with a layer of krylon. I used acetone and a nylon brush to get rid of the krylon then just left it alone to minimize getting anything on it. The underlying finish looked kinda like anodizing and was impervious to the acetone. There's still some krylon stuck in the textured grooves of the magnification and the illumination wheels because I didn't want to get acetone onto areas that might have rubber seals to be dried out. When I was ready to paint it I wore gloves while masking it off and gave it a final wipe down with a microfiber rag soaked in denatured alcohol. |
