A GI mag, with no pre-paint prep done in Alumahyde II in Coyote next to a Magpul PMAG in FDE. They look closer in person, as the light chagnes the color somewhat in the picture. That, and the PMAG finish is obviously flatter then the paint on metal finish.

Lumpy, Sorry for the delayed response, didn't see your post until this morning. Hopefully within the next couple months I'll put either a Aimpoint ML2 or a T1 Micro on the gun. I recently sold a complete gun with optics to a co-worker, purchased a new gun, and have another in the works (been waiting on the lower for the last few months). So I'm short optics on 2 guns. I stopped counting after 18k - I get worried that if I cleaned it ever that I'd fine the throat was shot out and the copper fouling was keeping it together -- so I just add a bit of lube now and then  I was debating going to a Hk416 14.5 for my daily driver -- but I have this thing for 16" middies. I'll get my other tan gun in a bit.  Jeff - definitely the T1 |

I second that, i just might have to copy you somewhat! Its gorgeous! And do you really like that pistol grip? I prefer Miad or RH Ergos P.S. I usually like my evil black rifles...black.....but thats one hell of an exception! |

The rifle is Duracoat Magpul FDE. I don't really like the grip and I will be going back to the miad. Now I just need to work on my camera skills. My pics are horrible.

Running out of room for the can in a decent sized pic -but- give me a bit of time -- we actually had a HALO that we planned on putting on - but got sidetracked
I hate the Beta's with a passion and would not be caught dead even with one ina CONUS photo. Weight -- well I am heavier than a dry Mk46 -- but not loaded with belt. |

 Was on TOS...and just realized you were posting your 416 upper in that pic. W/ all the other stuff on the rifle I didn't even realize it. I noticed the 40mm (or whatever size it is) was HK but not the upper. That's your lower right and not an HK? |
