You should be able to mount the rear sight a bit further back when you turn it around. When folded it should be perfectly at the end of the upper receiver. Have you taken it out and shot it yet? Not a good idea to use peel washers on a Vortex. The flats will go where they need to so the Vortex can be tightened to the barrel. Been done since the 15 business days after the 2011 Black Friday sale (thanks PSA!). Just added some new FDE furniture and a PA M3 clone red dot sight.

Guess I'll toss mine in the mix here. Just finished this build this past weekend- haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. At first pass though I'm quite happy with the fit and finish. The stripped lower I'd bought back during the Father's day sale, and then just got the upper. The fit and finish between both is dang near perfect.

Just found the PSA area...wish they weren't OOS on so many things right now, built my first rifle 2 month ago and just finished a second for my wife so she wouldn't steal mine, still have one stripped lower left I want to build but so few rifle kits to choose from
