BUMP (on a tacked thread hahaha)
Ugh! I'm so close to finishing my first build on a Spikes or PSA lower with a PSA LPK. It'll be done by this next weekend, and I'll put up some pics here. I would put it on one of my many PSA stripped lowers, but I spent a crap ton of money for absolutely no reason on a couple Spikes stripped lowers during the scare because I was trying to help my brother's financial situation, and he had 2 for sale. I have a Spikes zombie lower that I colored filled for fun. I'll show y'all when everything is complete. Spikes zombie lower PSA LPK Geissele SSA-E trigger Magpul MOE stock Magpul MIAD grip Magpul AFG2 EOTech XPS2-2 BCM 16" upper w/ Midwest Industries SSG2-12" handguard. My girlfriend doesn't like much recoil and has never been hunting, so I'll probably get the Fusion 62gr ammo for her first deer this fall. I have shot plenty, so she'll use this new baby when I take her out. I'm going to take her to the range a few times ahead of time to make sure she can bust out the should for good shot placement. Without bashing the .223 (I know it wouldn't be my first choice either, but I don't want her to flinch and make a bad shot on the deer), does anyone have a better factory round for deer hunting with the .223? |

I love how the fusion performs. Outstanding weight retention. Gotta hit that heart though with .223!!! |

I've heard great things about the Vor-tx, and I could zero it with the plinking 55gr bullets as well, but in the end, I had to buy the Fusions because the bullet is slightly bigger. I'm not going to sacrifice anything if I'm already using a .223. I can't wait to see how it performs. |

Im sure someone will talk crap about feeding issues with softpoints but i have 2 defensive mags of this stuff because I know how well it works on pigs and for me i havent had feed issues and ive shot around 100 rounds of the stuff. |
