Are you fucking serious?
You just admitted to murder, obstruction, evidence tampering, and probably a list of charges I don't even know of on a public message board?
The thread is retarded - your post really wraps it up with a nice little bow for us.

When I was attached to the Cav in Iraq, every Humvee had a "drop AK", I am sure it is the same mentality.
Now we are getting somewhere. What was the SOP of determining the recipient of the AK?
"Oh fuck oh fuck we shouldn't have shot that guy, quick get the drop gun from the HMMWV".

This. Wow.
Has it happened in law enforcement? I'm sure somewhere along the way there was a dirty cop who did it, it's unfortunate but true. Does it happen with frequency? I am REALLY doubtful. I would say the more common outcome is B.S. testimony over planting evidence. If you really believe for a second that there are slews of cops walking around so crooked that they carry drop pieces and crack cocaine in their pockets "just in case" you're probably in GD fantasy land. I can buy into a small minority of cops giving fake testimony to cover their ass, but I really can't buy into the idea that we have droves of dirty cops planting evidence. Additionally, your average patrol cop is NOT an investigator. What makes you think their planted evidence would even hold up to the most basic investigations? Half of the patrol cops in this country probably don't have a clue of what goes into a homicide investigation, and the other half probably don't give a hoot. It's not like the homicide detectives show and say, "oh look! Crack and a gun. Case closed"
Just my .02, I'm sure I'll be re educated about how someone in GD knows a dirty cop, or just watched serpico, and now they're the foremost standing expert on police corruption.
