Quoted: Me too, every time I watch the road course races the announcers talk about how popular they are. "THEN WHY DON'T YOU HAVE MORE!?!?" It would be a cool series if they mixed in more road courses, maybe Daytona and Kansas road course, Circuit of the Americas, Leguna Seca, Sebring etc. I would love to watch that. I was thinking earlier what F1 really needs with their new rules. Have you ever been to those theme parks where you can pay to shoot water cannons at people on certain rides? How about water cannons set up on the track that you could pay to shoot at your least favorite driver. Then the money could be distributed to the bottom 3 teams to make things more competitive. I hope noone from the FIA reads this or they might seriously consider it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: NASCAR looks more attractive based on the 2016 rules. You shut your whore mouth. Honestly though, I would actually consider watching NASCAR if they had more road courses... I actually like the Samona and Watkins Glen races. Quoted: I've said it for years, NASCAR should add some more road courses and even a dirt track or two. Sounds crazy, but I think a .375 to .5 mile dirt track race is doable and would be cool as hell. Hell, add a double-elimination drag race event with the NASCAR cars too.

View Quote Yep, basically all Haas needs to do is build a chassis, and make his own bodywork design, and the rest he can buy from Ferrari. Good to see he's in good graces with a top team |

I have to say that I'm enjoying the personality contest between Lewis and Nico. When Nico wins - they practically need a wrecker to drag Hamilton into the post-race room. I've never seen two guys in a small room/podium manage to avoid seeing each other.
If Nico wins the next race - Hamilton is going to melt down into a little pool of butter. The Red Bull/Vettel sideshow is just icing. |

View Quote So I wonder who just signed a huge purchase order with Hass Automation, Mercedes or Fiat? |

I'll need cliff notes of FP 1&2. I'm too busy trying not to lose fingers today.

Nicco/hamilto switched pole between p1-2.
Alonso held 3rd The bulls held 4th and 5th. |

Another brilliant Ferrari strategy....
It's fucking pathetic... |

HOLY CRAP!
Both Williams and both Ferraris join both Caterhams in not making it out of Q1!!!! Both Marussias make it to Q2! |

GUT into the wall, yellow flag for the end of the session. Marussia into Q3 possibility? EDIT: Nope.

Wow.... What a rebound hahaha
And I thought the last sector was the slowest... The rain had moved to the 1st sector. |

Every time a Qualifying session involves something more than just driving the car as fast as possible - like timing and strategy - Rosberg usually ends up on top.
Hamilton just can't manage changeable conditions well. Rosberg putting the needle to Hamilton again: TEAM RADIO
Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg: "Could you please tell Lewis that he needs to speed up." View Quote So according to Mercedes co-team boss Paddy Lowe, it was Lewis Hamilton's decision to abort the lap. "He felt the lap was worse," says Lowe. "He bailed out, which was unfortunate as a lot of time was found in sector three." View Quote Rosberg must have Hamilton really rattled. |
|
Lewis Hamilton gives a Kimi Raikkonen-esque interview to Lee McKenzie.
"I don't know, I don't have much of an answer," says Lewis Hamilton when asked why he aborted the lap. When pushed for an answer, a disappointed Hamilton added: "I just decided not to do the lap." Did he not complete the lap because he felt he wasn't going to improve, Hamilton says: "Obviously not. I don't have anything to say to you at the moment." View Quote vs. Nico Rosberg, after securing his fourth pole position of the season: "It was definitely quite crazy - certainly in first qualifying it was and last qualifying also.
"The tyres were still drying out so we lost time on the out lap. We sat in the garage and eventually came to the conclusion that we might as well go out out and have a look. "Then it seemed like it was worth it because the last part of the lap was very dry. It was a great team effort." View Quote |

Hamilton is working on either having a big meltdown this season or a spectacular drive this race.
|
|
Wow, Hamilton just gave up! Damn. What a bone head move. At least he admitted it. He was pretty dumbfounded when the female did the WTF on him. Then Buxton piled on.
Vettel said you just have to keep trying. Guess it might be starting to work. Ferrari just can not catch a break. If it isn't the car, its a bad strategy and this one caught them out. Interesting to hear the talk that Kimi is leaving at the end of next year. This is going to be an interesting race. If its dry, probably Nico's race to lose, if it rains, its going to be a free for all. |

F1 has really been great lately. This qually session was really fun to watch.

I love to watch Seb in the rain.
Lol at hamilton. My complete like and respect of Nico continues, hes a hell of a driver. |

Lauda sticks it to Hamilton.
Mercedes chief Niki Lauda confirms that it was Lewis Hamilton's decision to abort his final quick lap.
"It was tricky in the end, we were both well in the lead, then we had to make a decision on whether we go out again. "They both pushed to go out. Lewis thought the circuit was slower so he stopped, Nico kept going. "It was Lewis' decision because he thought he cannot go quicker but Nico proved you can go quicker and he was proved right. "This time Nico was outstanding again to grab pole under these difficult conditions." View Quote I have to believe that no one at Mercedes was happy with Hamilton's blatant and classless attempt to cheat Nico out of his last lap. |

Wow, what a qualification. Good for Nico, he's really driving like a champion!
Poor ol' Alonso, I don't know if he ever gets the best car, and the one year he did, his team screwed him. |
