Honestly that old truck was several times sexier. The new one doesn't get it done for me.

Both are pretty nice though.

When I was in high school, every "redneck", "country" (that's what they thought they were, but they really weren't) kid drove those things. Most of them had 3" body lifts with 35" tires and straight pipes. Basically spoiled kids whose mommies and daddies bought them trucks just for them to offroad, wreck, and be generally dumb in.

All that aside, yours looks great.

Plasti Dipped my wheels this week.  Not yet 100% sure if I like it, but it was cheap, easy, and can peel off.

I'm in the process of painting my hubcaps to match.

I really love your truck. I'm running 315/75/r16 (my first big tire on anything I've driven). I should have gotten 285s or 265's with my 3.55 gears. I love the look of my 315s, but really don't know if I can tow much with my canned tunes without my egts getting hot as hell. I'm not sure if I should take the loss on brand new tires, or re gear to 4.10s.

Replacement for my 01.  Early 04, 6spd, 4x4, loaded.  315 BFGs, otherwise stock.  Needs a bit of work, nothing major.

Nice truck! I would love to have a standard cab, 4x4 Cummins Ram with a manual. I couldn't find one reasonably priced last time I was truck shopping.

And because it's a pic thread, here's my wheelstanding Taco

Nice looking truck. I'm rethinking the plasti dip on my wheels on my car. The emblems came out great but the wheels are 50/50 sometimes they look good, other times not so much.

Great thing is, stuff comes off with little effort.

This is the 2001 GMC Sonoma that I bought pretty much new (had 2700 miles on it) in June of 2001.  I traded it off on December 29, 2011 for a brand new 2011 Toyota Tundra that I have managed to not take any pictures of yet.  In fairness, I wasn't really taking pictures of the Sonoma here.  I was trying to get pictures of the snow (Early 2011, aka Snowmageddon 2.0) and, in the ones he's in, the dog, which is why the truck is a bit out of focus in the first couple of pictures...well, that and I'm not much of a photographer.

I'll try to get a couple of shots of the Big Red Beast, aka my Tundra in the next day or two.
