Great looking truck! I LOVE my Dodge diesel, but I'm a Ford guy at heart.

I know GD will hate me because I don't drive a Ford, but here goes......

2010 Nissan Frontier 4x4.  2.5" lift and 33" Goodyear Duratracs. Shrockworks front winch bumper.(need a winch now).  Best part about this truck is it only has 14K miles now and is paid for.

No bashing from me.  Nice Frontier.  I just traded my Xterra in on my F150.  I liked the Xterra but wanted to get back into a pickup.  I considered looking at 4x4 Frontiers, but there were none in my area to look at when I was shopping.

That's a sharp looking CUCV.  How'd you manage to squeeze 420hp out of it?

The new truck has all the horses with the MAX trailering package, the CUCV feels like it has about 10hp but she can pull a house down in low range

Just put bigger rubber under my 2500 today.

A buddy at work had a set of 5 brand new Toyo Open Country 325/65-18's for $700.
Not sure if I will mount the spare yet or not... since the 35" Toyo won't fit under the truck.

At full lock they just barely touch the swaybar and framerail. There is also minor contact with the splash shield, but that will only take a little trimming to correct.

Here's a pic of the minor contact area...

In addition to the change in appearance, I can't get over how much better the truck rides with these tires also.
The factory tires made it ride like it was on a washboard and I could feel every crack or seam in the road. It also shifted and drove really herky-jerky. The brakes felt super grabby and would put you into the windshield if you hit them suddenly.

These taller tires really took the edge off of it now. Everything feels smoother and less bumpy/ jerky. It actually feels and rides more like a 1500 truck now.

A few more pics showing the contrast from stock to the Toyo tires...

The wheels are 17x9 Ballistic Razorbacks. The tires are the stock Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 265/70/17. Eventually I will bring the front end up closer to level and go with a bit bigger tire. Here is a pic of the truck with the stock wheels... They just did not do it for me

I've only towed a utility trailer with it so far, so I can't comment on pulling a heavy load. I towed a 7500 pound trailer a couple of times a year with my '99 5.3 and it pulled it ok. Mine is rated at 10500, but I would not want to tow that much with any half ton. If I towed over 5000 pounds a couple of times a month, I would want heavy duty and if I stepped up to a heavy duty, it would be a diesel. I have a family member with a '13 Silverado 2500 and he regrets buying the 6.0 gas instead of the diesel. The truck was exactly what he wanted, then they bought a decent sized travel trailer... Now he wishes he had the diesel.
Mine is a daily driver and I don't really need any thing over a half ton, but I did consider going bigger. I just could not justify it.
The 6.2 is much more fun to drive than my old 5.3! The 6.2 moves out real nice!
