How are those leds for brightness/distance? I've been debating between those or some more kc lights.

They have pretty good throw but I feel as if they are better for saturating a wide swath. For dessert running and long spots, I would look into HIDs. I retrofitted 100 W HIDs to my Lightforce 240s and they can punch a hole through a cloud. I am exaggerating but it is crazy how much focused they throw downrange.

The Duramax got a facelift.  I was tired of the rough ride of having my torsion bars cranked up, so I lowered them down and installed a 2" drop shackle to level it out.  Swapped out my front bumper for a color matched stock bumper.

I think I might be in the hunt for a new pickup. I did a bunch of mods to mine and really like it, but I kind of want a superduty 6spd.

That bumper really made it look sexy it needs to go back on. This is coming from a Ford/Cummins guy, but I really do like your truck the way you had it. I reckon I've told you a few times.

Thanks man.  I hope to lift it and get some road armors when I get out of school and get a real job.  But for now, I'm just going for driveability.  It rides so much better with the torsion bars down, and it should be much easier on front end parts and steering.  It cost me a few hours and $40 to lower it, which is much cheaper than a lift to say the least.

I posted pictures of my truck a few posts back but forgot to mention its AR equipped. I cut some foam to go in the under seat storage compartment and had a local upholstery cover it in suede. It holds the rifle and 3 mags.

I need some new tires and a leveling kit.

I want something a little more aggresive than the Goodyear A/T's, was thinking maybe MTR's or Duratracs - whatcha'll think?

Leveling kit suggestions/recommendations?

And this is sitting in the driveway, starting to restore a '72 norton commando then i'll start on this badboy.

A 6 speed  7.3 superduty that I wouldn't mind having? I said no where I was interested in having a 6.0. They are just fine with the correct mods.

I have looked at those also and none of those had boxes from the factory in them either.

Oh well I won't feel bad when I copy it then.

A leveling kit is not necessary on the Raptors. Your front spring perches are adjustable. You should have 3 positions you can set it to, and the middle one should be level. The top one will be nose high.

I jumped from a 2011 to a 2010 because the 6.7 just wasn't cutting it with all the filters. The 6.4 makes silly power.

It isn't the design of the intlet and outlet tubes means it is best installed in that configuration on that particular truck.
