According to the production list (https://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-NROI-production-gunlist.php) can I use my variant 9 USP?

V9 has a control lever that acts as a manual safety. There is NO decocking function. The gun is still DA/SA, but without a decocker. It is meant to be carried cocked and locked, with all shots being SA. Same idea as a CZ 75b.

Disregard.

Looks like for Production division I would have to manually lower the hammer during "load and make ready"

I will try Limited 10 instead.

Just decock it and shoot it in Production, probably over 1/3 of Production shooters are using a DA/SA gun and manually lowering the hammer.  If you shoot L10 your rarely gonna have anyone to compete against and if you do you will be at a disadvantage since you will be scored minor.
