Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lodging for kids Cabela's Dundee

Need some advice on lodging with kids in Dundee.  I was hoping there was a Great Wolf Lodge but evidently not.  There is a Splash Universe connected to a Holiday Inn but seems to have mixed reviews.

The Splash Universe is right in front of Cabelas. The water park and hotel is fairly nice.  It's no Great Wolf Lodge, but the kids enjoy it.

The Holiday Inn is no Great Wolf Lodge, but it doesn't cost as much either.  We have been there a few times, and liked it with my family.

Agreed with all points. We stayed with the kids there before a NASCAR race at MIS. Kids enjoyed it
