I'm in the process of obtaining my C&R and Form 4 for an SBR.

Can anyone give me any pointers?

Thanks

what county do you reside in?

I have had Zero issues with Christian County on two SBRs and I'm about to do a RDIAS:)

Just get your permit and go see the sheriff, best of luck!

O'yea I used the sheriffs fingerprint cards but I had to whiteout their info and put the ATFs info on the card before I mailed it off. I'm pretty sure you can get the correct card from the from the ATF when you order you Form 4.

No problems in St. Robert/Pulaski County.
Once I started doing the paper work it's really not that hard.
Wish I could afford a RDIAS...maybe one day.

All of my customers have had good luck in Jackson County.

Don't forget about the citizenship document.

I've got a couple of SBRs, but they were built while residing in another state.  I did get a signoff for a machinegun in St Louis County, though!

How is Platte County for signoffs?  I think I need another toy.

That's interesting, considering the trouble the Jackson Co Sheriff gives the CCW people.

Im in the same boat with you, playing the waiting game.  I sent in my C&R a week ago.  But I requested a Form 1 instead of 4 cause Im going to put it together myself

Do I have to have the Chief of Police or the County Sheriff sign my Form 4?

Either will be fine depending on whether they will sign.  If they both will sign then you have two choices.

Just spoke to the Chief of Police and he said, "sure, no problem, just come on in."

Pardon the hijack, but where's the ejection port on that shotty?  And do those Aguila mini-shells cycle through it reliably?

You're looking at it...it is an Ithaca so it is on the bottom.

The minis will occasionally flip over backwards in the action so no is the answer to your question but if you are careful and shoot slow and check each time, they are fun to shoot. You can't slam-fire it like with full size shells.
