Can we get a sticky so we can list our occupation and location?  I know many times there are things I need help with that I can't do myself,  tree removal, plumbing work, laying tile, etc.  There are also things that I can offer that I know some of you can't do yourselves, such as investments, taxes and insurance.  It would be nice if we could know what everyone here does for a living or hobby as I'd rather give my money to someone on this board to help me rather than the Billy Bob's I've hired out of the Yellow Pages.

Go ahead and post your Location and Occupation and or anything you do on the side of your full time job for spare cash.

I live in Raytown (a suburb of KC) and work in Overland Park for Sierra Financial Advisors.  We do Investment and Asset Management, Financial Planning, and Estate and Trust Planning.  I'm also licensed to sell life and health insurance to Missouri and Kansas residents.  For seasonal work I prepare personal income taxes (cheap!) to make a little extra cash for guns and toys.

On the side I've also made a little $ changing brake pads on friends cars.  Puts a little cash in my pocket and saves them the crazy amounts the dealers charge.

You can PM me anytime for a free term insurance quote and/or to ask me about preparing your taxes.

I work at Springfield Grocer I create barcode slot labels for the warehouse, along with keeping all the cubic volume, weights and case barcodes/upcs up to date, along with building the racks that the labels go on. I basically work to keep things running smooth, help fix inventory problems and what not. I can operate power jacks, order pickers and high lifts.
I do a little bit of computer programming and electronics along with all of that.

This is starting to sound like a resume' , anyways with anyone needs something modeled/CAD'ed up I can do that to in Solidworks, and I'm pretty good with photoshop and I'm ok with illstrator.

I'm from the St. Louis area and am an estimator for a mechanical contractor. We do commercial and industrial work.

I used to be a machinist, prototyper, and toolmaker for a lamp manufacturer. I have some G-code programming and CAD skills.

ETA: I'm pretty good at typical "handy" type stuff, carpentry, plumbing, simple electrical work. I have some wood refinishing skills.

I would love to learn how to build FALs and AKs hands-on.

I design and build custom kitchens in central Missouri.

I am also an amateur gunsmith and a pretty damn good cook. I also build street rods and fool around with H-D motorcycles.  When I'm not working or doing any of those things, I enjoy hunting and horseback riding.

As far as shooting sports go, I also shoot Sporting Clays and IDPA in addition to the 3-gun type stuff.

I used to enjoy a little photography, until I found out Jeff and John were doing underwear modeling, then I broke the lenses out of all my cameras!

Eric in Kansas City.  I buy drugs for a living.  Really, no shit.  I work for a large hospital over on the KS side of the state line.

As for mad skillz: I'm pretty good at polishing off mass quantities of good beer and damn near any kind of pizza.  I absoutely refuse to drink cheap "mass-market" beer, unless it's free and all that's available.    Beyond that I play with amateur auto racing in the SCCA.  that means I have to sort of know how to fix 'em too.

I also work as an Electrical Engineer designing Control systems for Power Plants.

In my free time when I'm not working as a gun dealer or engineer, I also find time to raise my two daughters and spend some time with my wife...the important things in life.

Related to other skills, I know enough to be dangerous working on my house, car, motorcycle, yard and garden.  I'm not a gunsmith but I can do AR-15/M16 work and I work on my own guns when I can.  I'm also available to test fire any of your guns that need to be shot...prefer if you supply ammo with the gun

Network Admin  in the KC metro area...I do net admin for a career, do web design/flash on the side for mad money, which is more enjoyable to me than my day job but doesn't bring home the bacon.

I'm handy with a wrench and am in to modifying cars, although I find it hard to allocate funds to pay for all of my 3 expensive hobbies (computers, cars, guns) at the same time.

PS...I live in Blue Springs and would get a K31 if I thought I could reload the ammo somewhere

I'm in Raytown and have a K-31.  What's reloaded ammo go for now a days?  I'd be interested in getting a couple more K31's and scoping 1, as I have no long range rifle at the moment.  I assume if they can shoot 1inch groups at 100 yards, they'd be pretty effective out to 500-600yards???
