Arfcommers buckfever34, M60E3, k12lts, big-Al, and myself attended a machinegun shoot on private property in southern Indiana with quite a few other machinegun enthusiasts this afternoon. There was also a cannon shooting 12-pound bowling balls over 500 yards, even with a trajectory reaching probably a couple hundred feet high (all with only 1.5 ounces of FFg and 4 ounces of Fg black powder

Sadly, unless 922(o) is ever repealed, my M16 will remain the only machinegun in my safe.  Thanks for letting her shoot it. I'll have to stop by the shop sometime and buy something to make up for the cost of the ammo she used.

As a matter of fact, last year was the only year out of the past several that we didn't get a chance to do anything. This past shoot was something kind of just thrown together at the last minute. If we get a chance to do something this fall, I will make sure you find out about it
With the prices of ammo, you gotta spread it out

It is so smooth and controllable, it's hard to believe it's almost 100 years old. He said they used to mount them in airplanes. |

Is there another area in southern IN to shoot. I go to sugar ridge and may try to join redbrush. I would have loved to be able to go to an event like the one you posted. I probably can't afford full auto but I'm looking to sbr a couple of 2 or six rifles. Looks like there would be alot of good advice to be had at an event like this. Missed Knob creek due to work this year and rain last year

Awesome, just awesome pics. I'm certainly beginning to see/understand the buzz about knob creek. Will have to try to make it down there fairly soon.
