From Kentucky Friends of NRA:
We've wrapped up the 2014 banquet season with the final event last Saturday in Flemingsburg! Through the hard and tireless work of our volunteers across the Commonwealth, we have raised a new record, over $400,000 of net proceeds that will fund grants for shooting sports and safety programs - this will mean around $200,000 of grants to go to Kentucky non-profits, make sure to request some for your organization.

$200,000 stays here in Kentucky and $200,000 goes up the chain to national programs. Remember the
Friends of the NRA is a 501c3. We give grants out to Scouts, ROTC, 4H,Women on Target, veteran, and Eddie Eagle programs. We're here to support the shooting culture and heritage. We help people start shooting and keep shooting while the NRA and NRA-ILA deal with the politics. I have a lot more fun giving guns away and giving money so kids can go shooting than I do playing politics!
Thank you to everyone who helped us buy buying raffle tickets, attending banquets, and being sponsors. Basically if you bought a raffle ticket, thats a box of clays for the 4H kids or if you bought a banquet ticket thats a brick of .22 for the scouts or if you bought a table sponsorship thats fully funding an ROTC rifle team.
