I had to sight in a couple of rifles and brought some match ammo. With all the years I've been shooting I've never shot a sub-moa group. So, that was my mission. Here are my 2 best groups.

Yeah these were at 100 yards. I built an MK12mod1 wanna-be that I always knew could shoot this well I just had to do my part. Wasn't the easiest with the guy next to me with the Stag brake on his AR but the breeze was nice.

I went there Saturday afternoon. Holy crap was it crowded. I just left. Don't want to shoot that bad. I could of got in if I wanted to wait an hour. It's always hit or miss there. Some weekends there is 5 guys shooting all day.

Congrats!
Are those 1" blocks? If so then your first group appears even smaller than the 0.9" you list. Measure from the outside edge of the "grease ring" on the widest spaced shots and then subtract the diameter of the bullet (shooting .223 then subtract .224 from group size), this effectively gives you "center to center" for your group size, which is the correct way to calculate group size. |
