Dry fry chengdu style chicken with real szechuan peppercorn. Banned from import into the USA from 1968-2005 due to concerns about citrus canker. The hydroxy alpha sanshool compound produces a tingling sensation similar to licking a 9-volt battery, very little heat. It's actually from the prickly ash rather than a pepper plant. Nothing like it.

Awesome flat 12.  Is that a 917?  Even as a Ferrari guy, that was an incredible car.

My gramps grew up where you could walk down the road with a shotgun after school and not have any issues. Like many of you guys fathers and grandfathers, they weren’t raised as skirts .

These books are very informative, even by today’s standards

It wasn't all that long ago seeing a kid with a gun was normal. At least in the country.

My high school had a rifle team and a range in the basement. They would compete against other schools. It was not unusual to see a kid walk into school and put their gun into their locker complete with a box of ammo. The high school parking lot, student and teacher, was full of car and trucks with guns in them. This was in upstate NY. Now those days are gone.

In grammar school early 60's in Wethersfield I was in a school play, Daniel Boone or something.  Asked my Uncle if I could use his war trophy Arisaka rifle as a prop, he removed the firing pin and said sure.  Lugged it to school, (damn thing was heavy!) teacher and kids thought it was the greatest.  Imagine seeing a 8-9 yo kid walking down the street with a rifle in a suburb bringing it to school now.

I would say "Yes, I will do $1200". Then set up a place to meet and then when the guy texts you "where are you", text him back "have $2800 on you?".

Waste his time. It is fun.

Just an FYI for anyone who enjoys cars....

If you don't already know Mark's Classic Cruise in East Granby is So. New England's largest cruise night, Monday's 5-dark weather permitting.  A nice night out for the kid's and anyone who enjoys motor vehicles.  Averages 500-1000 cars, trucks, bikes from antiques to exotics with free admission and spectator parking, food available and music.  Occasional manufacturer theme nights where all brands park together, Mustangs, Off Roaders, VW's, etc.  Pic is from this weeks Corvette Night-over 200, Mopar and GM(Pontiac, Olds,+) coming up.

Lol.  It's not like that other beast.  It's only 6.5oz.  Merriken Knives Dark Moby.  3.8"  chisel ground wharncliff blade.  AEB-L  steel, SS bearings.  Flips out fast.  Amazing fit and finish.  It is a pure slasher type defensive blade.

Just got the CZ and got in the queue to send it to Cajun Gun Works.  It's a CZ 75D Compact PCR 9mm (Police Czech Republic).  Aluminum frame.  Had to have the 14rd mag neutered to 10 but they make 10s as well.

Is it not better to have a point too so it can be used for stabbing if slashing is not an option for some reason?

When stabbing the blade can get stuck- not bad if you are expecting it to possibly happen. Slashing results in wounds that may not be fatal but draw a lot of blood- or so I have been told
