I am under pressure to keep the stickies under control, if anything I would like to see a single comprehensive Wisconsin event calender but I can not undertajke that myself. bulletcatchR |

I'm burried in work and haven't been keeping up. Didn't know that was this weekend. Have to wake up the wife and see if I can put it together. We have to get an early start if it's going to happen. Saturday, or no deal for me. I can't do all that screwing around on Sunday. So that's a firm maybe. Shoulda bumped this up a few days ago. |

My head is so far up my ass since I have been out of work I barely know what year it is. How do you expect me to keep up with exact dates???
 I am not sure if I am going. If I go it is only because I have never been to the FDL show and am curious about how the quality of a Wisconsin Gun Collectors show. I am kind of tired of the same old shit at the Bob and Rocco shows in Oshkosh.

FDL is a good sized show 400-ish tables and usually plenty of walkers.
There's almost never any ammo deals there. You can usually ferret out a gun deal if you work it real hard. Last time, I could have snatched a Cetury FAL for $400 cash. Guy was trading it in to a dealer towards an over priced AR. I stopped and expressed my dismay. The patron offered to sell it to me and give my cash to the dealer on the AR rather than give him the trade in. I should have done it, but I didn't. Funny thing is, I sold what I was carrying 20 minutes later for .... you guessed it ... $400. If the timing was different the FAL would have a new home. |

TJ, that was me buying the overpriced AR. Wish I would have known then what I have learned since. In fact, that was the AR I lamented about when I first started posting to the HTF. That FAL was nice, had some bugaboos, but definitely worth $400 (Century isn't even selling them anymore). |
