It was great to see Dan and Mary again, and visit while we cruised his inventory together.
I gotta say, I don't think I've ever seen a more complete line of handguns in one place before today, and I know for a fact that Dan and Mary are some of the kindest people I've ever met. I had a great time, and am glad I have made the drive to see what all the fuss has been about. Anyhow, I know it breaks tradition, but I think Dan is gonna be pretty happy with his new purchases.  He made two excellent choices, (him having such a great inventory to draw from made it easy I think), and I believe he's gonna have more fun with that thing than should be legal outside of Texas.He didn't even seem to mind filling out the paperwork.  He picked himself out a solid choice, the new Buck Mark Bullseye Target URX, and with the new EOtech on top, he'll be hell on wheels with that new pistol. I liked his choice so much, I almost tried to outbid him on it.  Great setup!!Anyhow, I had fun, and Dans new setup has me thinking I may need to follow suit. Sure is gonna be fun once he puts it all together and takes it out for a good run!

Weren't you out rubbing elbows with the other tech-heads up in Microtown? It was spur of the moment.... a couple hours to kill, and totally unplanned. Sorry man. I just needed to drive somewhere, and that's where I ended up. I'll annoy you next time for sure! |
