I figure we'll give the wetsiders a chance to recover from the LCR, and set the SCR at least 3 weeks past it.

As in the past, the dates will get set by popular vote.

April 28th-30th
May 12th-14th
May 19th-21st

May 26th-28th

Those needing directions, IM me or The_End.

nwammoguy-
Spokane, but if you look north the actual spot is nearer to Tum-Tum. A wide spot in the road.
I can provide maps, directions, ect.

What's the weather like that time of year? How far are we talking of a drive?
PCR- Generally, the weather is 10 degrees cooler at night, 10 warmer in the day, or at least that's what they tell me. May is usually pretty dry, the Cold to warmer transition takes place in April, although it's not unknown to has the last little bit of snow on the ground at Easter.

Your drive time?
4.5 hours to Moses Lake, 1.5/2 to Spokane @77Mph Avg., another hour north from there to be generous, so around 6 or 7 hours. Depends if you radar detector is as good as your PC

It is 4.5 hours from Seattle to Spokane, not nearly that long to get to Moses Lake!  My best time to Spokane was just under 3.5 hours from Seattle......

Really- I'm also including the Stop for coffee, the stop for gas and coffee, the stop for lunch. I take my time on that road trip, but 3.5 hours? Unreal man!
It's like 90 miles from Spokane to Moses Hole, and around 230 from ML to Tacoma.....IIRC my best time ever was around 4.5 hours

Wait a minnit-I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hour early check in a SeaTac-
1.25 Hour flight, w/ headwind
15 minutes at the baggage terminal-
45 minutes at the rental counter-
10 minutes to downtown Spokane!

Haha!  But no, that sub 3.5 hour time was for driving, total miles were like 285 or 290.  It was Christmas Day a few years ago, driving the wife's VW Passat with the 1.8L turbo.  It was a beautiful, crystal clear day, road conditions were perfect, and we had the road to ourselves.  No cops were seen for the entire trip, and I think maybe 20 cars in either direction?  Being Christmas day, there really wasn't anywhere to stop anyway.  I think we did stop at one rest stop for 5 minutes....

Our best time in that same car to the Tri-Cities was 2 hours and 15 minutes (200 miles.)  Some parts of the Vantage highway saw speeds of 105....  We woke up late for our nephew's baptism, and had to haul ass to make it in time.  Arrived with 10 minutes to spare...

I miss that car....

Went out to the site today to test out my new Mosin Negant and had a blast.
It was a wee bit muddy so we got to test out Amy's new Jeep aswell and explore a bit.
Unfortunately we forgot the camera so we could only get pics of the aftermath but we found some fun trails we definately wouldn't have been able to make in the truck.

Oh ya, bumping this back to page 1

With all of the firepower we'll have out there, the only problem we'd have with chupacabras will be digging out all the lead before we cook it.

Speaking of voicemail- & communications-

I was talking with 9Millie, and we both wanted to know how many folks were coming from out of the Spokane area, or didn't quite know their way around spokane and out to "The site"....

What myself and 9Millie were thinking was that we sorta needed to establish a time/place for everyone who needed to "handrail" out the SCR....this is a THREE part plan.

Those coming form out-of-town might want to to IM me their cell number, I'll CC a list to either The_End or MackUSMC for redundancy. This is so we don't leave with a gaggle and then you're "lost in the sauce".

My #2 suggestion was a time of about 4 or maybe even 5pm for those that had the day off, and a later time for those that didn't.

As for a location, (#3) I'm open to suggestion (No, I will NOT go fuck a duck), BUT, for someone to take the Division St exit and head North on Division (which is also Hwy 395 & Hwy 2) to Francis Ave, then 10-12 blocks West and park at the Burger King would not be a bad location.

Questions, complaints, bitches, gripes, whines, or adjustments anyone???????

Depends.
there's the 100 (Max 150) bowling alley, that's the site that was chosen last time as a "Hub", but if we clear a lane in the corner of the field, adj to the entrance.....saaaaaay out to the opposite treeline- 700/800?
