Good luck with that. They just effectively ended the referendum process in the state. Those cocksuckers can declare and emergancy on any bill they don't want the people to have a say on. What a crock of shit!

True but the initiative process is much more difficult than the referendum process. You need twice the signatures and you can only address one topic at a time even if the bill is for multiple issues.

Use 912 as an example, a ref. could erase the gas, liquer, cig, and death tax all in one stroke and only require 125000 sigs to get on a ballot. The ref 912 required 225000 sigs (they got over 400,000 though

) and can only address the gas tax.

That emergancy clause ruling has got to go. But so do the assholes in Olympia that abuse it!!!
