... We should organize a breakfast run near the fairground prior to the show on Saturday or Sunday
I'm there! Should be a good time. Carbine10 and I will probably carpool down, if you need a ride and are in North Phoenix (Cave Creek & Union Hills) area, don't hesitate to IM me.

How about some preshow trades??
Do you have something you are taking to sell? We need to start having our own funshow. Email me if you are looking for ARs or parts. I am looking for 1911s, HKs, Glocks, optics, Bolt actions and Just about anything. |
Don't trade to many of those AR's, save some for us. |
I will be there. On the downside, I may have the Mrs. with me. She's not anti. It's just that she's likely to spend money on stuff (salami, jerky, olives, jewelry, T-shirts etc), that would be better allocated for ammo and accessories. The breakfast meet sounds like a great way to get her to stay home. She has no desire to meet my fellow shooters, or get up early on her day off. Then I can shop at will. Plus I'll score points by "thinking of her" and bringing her home something from the show.
I'll be there,I'm splitting a table with a buddy I'll be selling 3 of my AR uppers and some other misc BS.
I need either a stripped A3 or A1 upper receiver or a A2 upper. Have an upper I took off a preban when I had a new upper built. Reason person got rid of the gun was because he had screwed up the front receiver hole. I'm going in the morning, what time do they open the show?
I and my entire crew will be there in force to purchase multiple weapons ond other such goodies of nessitity.
Got to get ready to repell invaders attacking thru Mexico ! Think I'm kidding ? What about the Taliban guy from Afganastan they caught in Tucson who was smuggled into the USA by coyotes in Mexico???? LOCK & LOAD BOYS !!! |
I completely forgot about it today, I'm going to try to make it tomorrow.

Just got back to Tucson from the Crossroads gun show and spent less than $600.00. Most of the prices were too high. J&G sales was doing a brisk business though, had to wait in line for a half an hour to by one of their Romanian AK's which came to $301.62 out the door when tax was added. This was a 2002 model and better than any I have seen before in quality. They sold about 20 of them in the half hour I was waiting to get my purchase done.
I also decided to pick up and Eagle Arms (with tax $121)stripped lower from a Tucson vendor and an A2 upper receiver (this was complete for $162.09) from another vendor as I have so many parts at home I can put together AR #6. I did see a couple of vendors that had really fair prices though. |
... I found time to go today as well. Found a guy selling $12 USGI's, bought a few, poor finish but straight bodies & floorplates.
... The place was absolutely packed, I've never seen it that bad (good?). Most vendors were very high priced. Pride in ownership I guess. Even saw a fella selling Tannerite @ $8 bucks a bottle! ... No decent MForgery uppers. Boat loads of bolt actions. |

Me and a friend came over Friday and spent the night and were at the entrance at 9. What a great show. I was amazed to see table after table of Guns Guns Guns! It puts are Del Mar Junk Show to shame. You guys very lucky that you live in Free America.
Fortunate, yes. Lucky, no. Some of us fled the oppressors and moved here to Free America. Glad you enjoyed yourself, I remember the first time I was at an AZ Crossroads show right before I moved here from California. It reminded me of the old days, of the Pomona shows in the early 90s. I was like a kid in a candy store... |

Dammit. I did it again. I went to the gun show with the money I had gotten from selling my camera and lens and the KYDEX on ebay...
Now I have nothing left. All I have to show for it is a yugoslavian m59/66 SKS w/ grenade launcher. This left me (AT MINUTE 31 in the door) with $7 in my pocket. I spent the next hour trying to find the guy that wasnt trying to screw me over for stripper clips. I found him, 20 for $5. NO ONE TAKES DISCOVER!!! I was unable to purchase ammo, they had Wolf 7.62 for 39.95 for 500 rnds. I am very happy. This was my first gunshow, and my second SKS. This one is a dream. NO RATTLES. NO WIGGLES or WOGGLES. This thing is rock solid. My old chinese's gas tube rattled like in the movies, you know, everytime you move a gun it makes a noise. The receiver cover was way loose and the bolt and hammer were very worn. The bolt on this one looks brand new, no shiny spots or dings, you can still see the machine marks, very nice. I paid..... $129 + tax. Plus $3 parking, Plus $9 admission. My GF was pissed. She got over it. I was # 3 in the door at J&G, i had to wait for 30 mins before I got to fondle my way through the sks pile. I picked out one that had a Yugo Crest carved into the stock. I asked if I could break it down to check the bore, bolt and other parts. They almost said NO. I could see it on thier lips. But the 50 other people around me had heard me ask loudly 5 times if I could break her down. No one else before me did that. I won't buy a gun that you won't let me check, whatcha hiding lady?:) |
I'll be there in the morning, and I'm bringing a Shortened($50 factory option) black Cav Lower, complete with DPMS parts, to sell. It's NEW, unused. |
AZTrooper and I went Saturday. Picked me up a Harris bipod for my AR10. And Galco NSAII holster for my Glock 19. This Galco holster fits like a glove. IWB CCW holster. Much better than my broken BladeTech holster. |
Got what I needed, without having to sell my Cav-15 lower. I got rid of four Colt 20rd mags I wasn't going to use, and got an Eagle Arms receiver for the same amount. Worked out well.
Saw a few of you guys there, and had a good time. Prices actually weren't too bad on a lot of stuff... |
I just got back from said gunshow. Boy I screwed up, saw some ammo for the AK @ $74.00 per 1000, figured I'd pick it up on the way out. Yep! ALL GONE! S**T! I know better.

Dont tell me J&G were there selling SA production .223 ammo. I went last week to the store and was told they were out.

I'll probably go to that one. -Steve |

Hey all!
First time posting on the local board thanks to kuhlewulf telling me about it. h.gif I've never been to one of the gun shows, but have wanted to. Is there anything good to be had? I mean, I don't want to sound snooty, but is the selection any thing to really make you not miss it? Try not to beat me up too much Hey kuhlewulf, thanks again !! I'm in the Sun City/Peoria area. |

Okay I finally updated and added direct links. For maps and coupons. Are we Happy now? Some day I'll make a Gun Store list/thread. Links, address, and phone numbers. |
Hi Guys, Did anyone attended Ter-Mark gunshow in AZ? Are they any good? Cause I went to a couple of AZ Arms Assoc gunshow they have a lot of old guns! Thanks
The Crossroads of the West shows are the best. With the SAR Show on December 2-4 being the biggest. The SAR Show is Crossroads and Small Arms Review magazine joining together. Lots of Full Auto stuff. Save your money and plan on going ahead of time. The show is 3 days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. |
Hi Carbine10, Thanks! I will save my money on Crossroad of the west gunshow. Nowaday they charge you $8.00 to get in and if you can't find anything you want to buy it's a waste of money.
The Only show in Arizona is the SAR SHOW in December each year.

Does anyone know if the guy who sells mainly AR stuff has a webpage? It looks to be a family run busines, they are middle eastern/India and have great deals on AR stuff. If you know who i'm talking about and they have a webpage, please reply to the board or PM me.
Thanks, Tank |
Are you talking about the guy who sells AR stuff on one side of his table and AK stuff on the other side? Because most of that stuff is airsoft imported from China and Hong Kong. |
