Just received renewal paperwork in the mail today to renew (Nice of them to auto mail me a renewal form...hint, hint Ohio).  I went to handgunlaw.us to update the map with just an OH license vs. OH + NH.  No difference it seems.  Its $100 for 4 years, what does it buy me vs. just sticking with my Ohio CCW?

Looks like you OH ccw works in NH, unless you plan on moving there I see no reason to renew. (Unless there is something I'm missing)

EDIT : LINK I was looking at.

There is one minor advantage but it really only matters if you plan to travel to NH a lot.

The way the federal school zone law is worded is such that you are only allowed to carry within the federal school zone limits in a state to which you have a valid carry license.  So for example, even though OH has agreements with many other states where they will honor our license as a defense against state laws, you are only exempt from the federal school zone limits in OH.  With the NH one, you would also be exempt around schools in NH.

So very minor really, and pointless if you don't really ever travel to NH.

Had my non-res NH license to take care of GA on my yearly trip, not needed any more.

I stopped getting NH when they went from $24 to $100.  I have been getting the PA since.  I just renewed my PA about a week before we got reciprocity.
