So it looks like I am going to be moving back to CA after not living there my whole adult life and I have acquired things that CA thinks are naughty. One is a dpms panther lower (which I don't really care about) and the other is a Bushmaster. I do care about the Bushmaster, the upper and lower are at very good tolerances, great appearance, etc. It is an XM15-E2S. So, there isn't any legal way to have that lower come with me, is there?

No workaround for a named model. Even the stripped receiver is an AW.

Yeah I figured. I was kind of hoping someone would just say "dremel the model off and no one cares!"

Sell the Bushmaster, use funds to throw together something equally as pleasing. Lets be honest, its an AR not a Porsche.
