Thinking of bringing a plat rack for steel. What is the range we can set up if only shooting with pistols?
|
|
I'm going to have to talk to mick ..We try to keep all the steel out at the 100 yard burn to keep peace with the range ..and keep everyone safe .

Good, I am not the new guy anymore, i went last time. The shooters prefer french curlers dipped chocolate from Dunkin Donuts. See you there.

I'm looking at one of THESE (with an additional strap) for the next shoot, as my 'field expedient' 2x4 stand was at best, marginal....

I'm going to make a stand just like that. Except for the straps. I'll continue using chains. The 2x4 stands work but only last 3 or 4 trips. Hopefully rebar will last longer. |

You could weld up some pipe like that for next to nothing if you had the inclination. Gives me an idea. I think I have a semi trailer strap around here. That should work well. |

First chance ive had to thank all you guys and gals for showing up at the last shoot.
You all were fantastic again. It was unfortunate that the range changed the rules ...no full auto from the benches. But i think it worked out the way we did it. Hey michael Who won our 22 match....it was great meeting you and your lady. Thanks again for will and robert from FIRE CONTROL GROUP MFG ..our range safety ocifers. Check out their web site....its interesting. And my good budy DAVE for his help in running the shoot and cleaning up afterwards ....brass. inc. THE NEXT SHOOT IS BOOKED FOR SEPT 17th Same start same place and same rules. Thank you all again for your support...ATB mick and dave. |
