My form 1 SBR stamp should get approved any day now and I was wondering if anyone makes aftermarket barrels for the 300? I plan on going with a 9" barrel and the stock barrel might not have enough meat to thread without having to go with an oddball pitch. I wouldn't mind a nice bull barrel or even a fluted one if the price is right. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You could go 1/2-28 if you think its too thin for 5/8-24
I have a 77/357 threaded with that pitch.

That's awesome! I thought you couldn't get away with a 1/2x28 on a 30 cal because it left the threaded area too thin with the .308 sized bore. I have a couple of 1/2x28 thread yhm QDs laying around...
