Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - HB14 adapter installation

Does anyone know of a site, or a video that shows one how to install the HB14 on a wood stocked mini 14.  I bought one for my father-in-law and he called tonight and couldn't figure out how to install it.  I don't mind going over and doing it, but I want to make sure that I know how to do it.  I've searched on the internet, but can't find anything.

I think that's what I needed, thanks boys.  I thought it attached to the sling mount also, but I want to be sure before I look like an ass in front of my father in law

You can attach a swivel stud to the stock as well, it's looks a lot better than that adapter.  You will need to inlet the stock under the heatshield.  You can use a Harris #2 or #2a.
