All in good fun Yeah, I spotted that too. And he would have if the dust cover was closed. Look at the amount of room needed for an AR to function when firing from a reverse prone position. If there's enough room for the dust cover to open, there's enough room for the brass to eject. I'm not saying this guy's grip is a good idea at all and I always correct the officers I train when I see someone grabbing onto the magwell. But I've fired in the reverse prone position with the ejection port about 1" from the dirt, sand, grass and even mud and I have not yet experienced a malfunction. |

He must not be that bad if you got him out on the range! I have a lawyer friend: liberal, feminist, and all for an "assault weapons ban". Someone got her out on the range with a carbine and a glock; she posted FB pics and raved about how great of a time she had. Got to work on hearts and minds to win over 2nd amendment support |
