cleaned my little safe up a bit. actually got rid of a couple guns because it was too cluttered. the handguns are still a mess but it looks a little neater now. you cant really see it but there is a shotgun in the right rear corner and an mp5 on the floor kinda behind the ar's (you can kinda see the pistol grip if you look close.

Nothing like your guy's contributions, but I made this a while back as a solution for chest rig storage. Still playing with the concept.

Some rubber like substance . Does not seem to be wearing off at all even on the more used hangers

Like bullets , bore brushes , burned powder , solvents , cleaning rods / or bore snakes ?

Link Posted: 1/11/2014 7:06:30 PM EDT
[Last Edit: Snaps] [#34]
nope, not at all like those. Bore snakes, cloth and a brass tip, both soft, rods either brass or aluminum and the other things mentioned aren't solid. Even the steel ones for ARs still go into the bore. We've been taught this since day one not to put rods n the barrel from the muzzle. Sticking a metal rod down a barrel from the crown into the bore isn't something I'm willing to do.
I had a very well known barrel guy give me a good talking too about pushing a bore sighter down one of his barrels years back. Haven't done it since.

I bought a set but don think they'll work out like I wanted. That top shelf doesn't go all the back to the rear wall.

My humble little Cannon Scout "24" rifle. It's nice to have a place to finally put my stickers on.

I think the door organizer is a joke but it was the best deal I could find in this size. The apartment we got didn't leave me room for anything bigger. Small doorways suck. This thing will become an ammo safe when we move in a year and get a real house.

I think I would get the 6' version of the same safe if I were to do it again, another shelf up top would have been nice. No complaints, but you know how it is after your measure a spot out and imagine it for yourself vs. having a tangible reference.

Same rifle as the earlier pic-

ETA that's the "#2 interior w/side shelves and AR clearance"
