Found out that Walmart was having a Manager's sale on rifles in Sporting Goods. Asked what was on sale and they told me anything except AR's and home defense shotguns. All bolt actions on sale. I asked if it included the Sig SSG3000, and they said yes. Got it for $1197 plus tax. Has German 24" barrel. Not too bad.

Selway Armory had them on sale for around $59 a few months ago. They are out of stock now.

Selway Armory has 7 in stock at this moment for $74.99. Stock seems to be live, I ordered 2 and stock went down! Good luck!!

2 left now. Get them while you can. They don't show up available very ofter and when they do, you would be hard pressed to find them cheaper.

They appear to be doing chain-wide clearance again, including special orders that failed for some reason. Some odd things showing up at the stores. They marked the Sig .308 down by $400 and it went in a heartbeat. My local stores have had ARs of various types on markdown too, including SOCOM colts.

I found an SSG 3000 at a local Wal-Mart Last Sunday and it was marked $1495 just like mine was last November.

I did manage to shoot my best group ever with my SSG 3000 last Sunday too. 5 shots at 100 yards .442"
